I started this blog several years ago when I was in the thick of sandwich generation issues — raising teenagers and also in charge of my mother’s affairs. My two kids are now young adults and my mother is gone, so the focus has shifted a little. I am keeping on with it because I discovered there’s still a lot to learn about  being mom to offspring who are fledging.

I am a Midwesterner, public library worker, writer, reader, muser, overthinker, introvert. I am endlessly fascinated by the universe and by human behavior. I process life best through the written word.
