A couple of days before the library where I work closed due to the pandemic, I spotted a book waiting to be reshelved:
Oh, hey. That looked useful. I should learn more survival skills, I decided. So I checked the book out to myself and brought it home. And look what I accomplished with some green onions.
I successfully regrew approximately ten calories and forty cents worth of food! They will go in soup tomorrow.

This is soooo cool! I saw a video with all kinds of veggies to regrow and wanted to try it. That must have felt gratifying to see. 🙂
I wasn’t really confident I’d get results, but I did. And it wasn’t difficult.
